Piggy Paint: Your New Best Friend (and a discount!)

Painting your children’s nails for a special occasion or any time can be a really fun activity, and I’ve seen kids’ chairs pop up in nail salons all over the place. But I hate the idea of kiddos, or anyone for that matter, having to breathe in those fumes or possibly ingest the chemicals when they have their fingers in their mouths. After some research, I came across Piggy Paint, a non-toxic, odorless and kid friendly nail polish company.

Piggy Paint has made it their mission to provide a safe, water-based product. I have been using their products for a few years now and love them. There really are no harsh smells and they have lots of fun colors to choose from, including my favorites Pinkie Promise, All That Razz, Glitter Bug, and the Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun Halloween set (aren’t those names so fun?).

They even have cute gift sets you can buy! The holidays are coming up and these would make a great gift, stocking stuffer or birthday present. And the wonderful folks over at Piggy Paint have agreed to offer a discount to all Kinship readers! Simply enter PDlovesPiggy at checkout and receive a 30% discount on anything at www.piggypaint.com!

Here are some perfectly good excuses to go and pamper yourself and your little ones:

  • Spending time painting each other’s nails can actually be a great opportunity to bond with your child. Use the time to talk to them about their day or catch up on school, friends, etc.

  • Make up silly songs while you wait for the paint to dry.

  • You can even use the nail polish to talk about colors or create patterns with the colors they choose.

  • Having them paint their own nails can also be a great helper with developing fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination!

So enjoy the discount and some worry-free one-on-one time with your babes!
